Loch Harbour Group is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst at our HQ located in Alexandria, VA.  The Financial Analyst will support financial management and accounting efforts of corporate office.

Job Duties

  • Perform continuous project review, analysis and appraisal for Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M) and Cost-Plus contracts
  • Financial activities such as invoicing support, accruals, and program financial revenue projections and variance analysis
  • Maintain accurate records of billing calculations and records, to include contracts and modifications, invoice supporting documentation, email approvals, subcontractor invoices
  • Review employees travel expense reports
  • Compiles supporting documentation for audits
  • Assist VPs of operation schedule appointments and maintain calendars and coordinate staff and other meetings
  • Prepare communications such as memos, emails, reports and other correspondence
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management  or related field
  • 1-2 years work experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or related fields
  • Moderate to Advanced Excel User
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior personnel
