August 10, 2020 – Alexandria, VA – Loch Harbour Group (LHG), a professional services consulting company serving the Federal government and private sectors, is pleased to announce that Board of Director (BoD) member, Dr. Joseph Braddock, has received the Department of Defense (DoD) Exceptional Public Service Award.

Dr. Braddock received this award for exceptional public service from March 2015 to May 2019. He served as a Special Government Employee appointed to the DoD Threat Reduction Advisory Committee (TRAC). The role of TRAC was to advise and assist the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (USD(A&S) on the reduction of the threat to the United States and its allies from nuclear, biological, chemical, conventional, and special weapons; sustainment of the nuclear deterrent; chemical and biological defense; counter proliferation; weapons effects; combating terrorism; and other matters related to the USD(A&S), Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological ASD (NCB) and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). The TRAC identified and considered emerging Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) threats, reviewed counters to such threats, and assessed the adequacy of DTRA, and the DoD’s responses to national policy and emerging threats.
